| The
vast continent of Asia stirs the soul with promises of mystery
and enchantment. Our sister operation of Asia Dreamer Tours has focused
on several countries in the Orient. Our goal is to provide a quality experience
at an affordable price, for vacations that are neither too long nor too
short. Our itineraries are typically from 9 to 12 days or longer and include
major sites and plenty of shopping opportunities. We enjoy close relationships
with our colleagues abroad who are there to welcome you, from the time
you step off the plane to the day you depart for home again. |
 |
| But
we are not limited to the selections shown here. If you are
interested in a trip elsewhere, such as Japan or India, please contact
us and we will find a package that suits your needs from one of our travel
partners. |

| China’s
cultural riches and 5000 years of tumultuous history place it,
without doubt, among the world’s greatest travel destinations. The Great
Wall, X’ian’s Terracotta Army, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square:
the very names reverberate with history and legend. Shanghai’s skyscrapers
contrast with Beijing’s historical treasures, while in rural provinces,
mechanization has not yet reached many traditional farming villages. This
is the land of the Yangxi River, the Silk Route and the bamboo forests
of the panda. |
 |
| A
holiday in Thailand can combine the beauty of the Golden Triangle’s
temples and remote hill tribes north of Chiang Mai, the beaches of Phuket
and more pristine Krabi, and the dynamic capital Bangkok with its futuristic
high-rise buildings juxtaposed against the exquisite beauty of the gleaming
Grand Palace. In every town and city, bargain-hunters thrive in the street
markets crammed with all manner of goods, where good-natured bartering
is the norm. |
 |
| The
famous and magnificent temples at Angkor are the premier attraction
in Cambodia. This ancient and astounding temple complex is what remains
of the capital of the once mighty Khmer civilization. Angkor Wat is spread
over 77 square miles, with more than 70 important temples. It is hailed
as one of the most extraordinary architectural creations ever built, with
its intricate bas reliefs, strange acoustics and magnificent soaring towers.
Phnom Penh is often overlooked by visitors to Cambodia but this capital
city has an old world charm with its colonial buildings, wide boulevards,
pagodas and riverside walks. |
 |
| Vietnam
is a name too long associated with the horrors of war. But now
it has finally won its last battle – to capture the imagination of the
traveling public. Elegant Hanoi now vies with its dynamic sister, Ho Chi
Minh City (still fondly called Saigon by the locals), for the attention
of visitors drawn by the eclectic mix of old and new. Elsewhere, the scenes
are timeless. Early morning on the Mekong Delta brings the daily floating
markets where fruit and vegetables are peddled. Everywhere the green patchwork
of rice paddies stretches into the distance. The soaring mountains in the
north of the country tower over tiny villages where life continues much
the way it has for centuries. |
