Dreamer Tours and Asia Dreamer Tours were established in 2008
by Sharifa Burnett following her challenging and rewarding career with
one of the country's largest tour operators. |
|
| A
native of Jamaica, Sharifa moved to New York to assume a staff
position at the the Kenya Mission to the United Nations. From there she
moved to the Kenya Tourist Board where she worked for 14 years, promoting
Kenya in the USA and Canada. |
|
| Invited
to join a family travel business, Sharifa
opened the Africa Division of Alken Tours in 1989 where she worked for
12 years designing and providing logistics planning for tours to Africa.
In West Africa she promoted travel to Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Cote d'Ivoire,
Ghana, Togo, Benin and Niger. In North Africa she created tours for Morocco
and Egypt. In East Africa, she has led tours to Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda
and Tanzania. And in Southern Africa, her experience includes tours to
Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa and Namibia. From north to south and east
to west, Sharifa knows Africa best! |

| With
her strong Jamaican roots, she is also
familiar with the full range of travel possibilities throughout the islands
of the Caribbean, and Mexico. In addition to standard holiday packages,
she is experienced in coordinating individual and group travel to the many
music festivals, carnivals and other annual events that occur throughout
the region. |

| With
the increasing popularity of new destinations
in Asia and elsewhere, Sharifa is focused on meeting the demand for cost-effective,
customized tours for her clientele, where the emphasis is on the budget-minded
traveler who values a quality experience at an affordable price. |

| Drawing
on her vast experience and working closely
with her colleagues and partners abroad, Sharifa remains committed to providing
unique and memorable journeys to exciting destinations. |

| Sharifa
Burnett is a founding member of the Africa
Travel Association and member of the OSSN (Outside Sales Support network).
She has also won numerous awards in the travel industry. |
